About vADR
Who are we?
vADR is found on behalf of enthusiasts and community of Slovenian virtual aviation organization and is dedicated as a memory of ex Slovenian airline Adria Airways, which ceased its real world operations on 2. 10. 2019. Adria Airways has been a motivation for many young Slovenian pilots and its dedicated followers. Her story began back in 60's and a long term history made its path to a heart of many aviators nowadays. vADR's motivation is enormous and the goal is to keep once all-mighty Adria alive on virtual sky.
Why vADR?
New modern platform of virtual airline's pilot centre supported by VAMSYS offers our pilots:
-Detailed and professional manuals with described company procedures
-Accurate and new modern ACARS system (PEGASUS)
-Enhanced dispatch centre with useful links
-Detailed flight booking system for pilots
-Entrainment such as lounge area and gallery
-Fleet liveries, currently including Aerosoft CRJs and FsLabs Airbuses
Future vision
One has to understand, this is (only) initial release and is to be upgraded. Some of our goals:
-Release In-Flight magazine
-Extend fleet with new aircraft types
-Open interesting charter destinations
-Establish some long-haul rotations
-Establish virtual flight school
To sum up...
vADR is virtual airline for simmers, who love small but cosy, classy national carriers with bits of realistic feeling while simming. Vision of this virtual airline is great and this is just the beginning. Within days, months and years to follow, we will keep our VA growing with your help and we will offer new options in the future. Slovenia lost its national carrier in 2019, but that's not the end for people who stay positive and see opportunities in many ways - we just took our.
